Meet founder

Hello!
My name is Ana Kralj Duka. I am a counseling therapist and the author of the online program “The Psychotherapy Notebook.”
I was born in 1987 in Zagreb. After finishing high school, I decided to continue my education at the University of Zagreb, where I earned a degree in philosophy and teacher education. Even during my university days, I felt a deep passion for logotherapy, which directed me toward working with children and education. In 2012, I founded the company “Logos učiteljica” (www.logosuciteljica.com), which organizes workshops for children and parents, and offers learning support through a holistic approach—fostering motivation, organizational skills, concentration, and learning strategies.
Through this work, I found a way to apply logotherapy in everyday practice with children, encouraging their motivation and focus. I witnessed how this psychotherapeutic method brings positive results, which inspired me to pursue further professional development. In 2018, I decided to enroll in a PhD program in philosophy.
I am currently focused on writing my doctoral dissertation in the field of existential philosophy, with an emphasis on Viktor Frankl and logotherapy. In addition to working with children, I have shared my knowledge and experience with aspiring logotherapists. As an external associate of the Croatian Center for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, I worked as an assistant and supervisor, providing support and mentorship to new generations of logotherapists.
Working with clients is my true passion. Since 2017, I have been independently engaged in psychotherapeutic work, helping individuals face various challenges and supporting their emotional growth. As a therapist, tracking client progress through notes has become an essential part of my practice. Through my psychotherapy notebook, I recorded reflections, insights, and key moments from therapy sessions. Over time, I observed recurring challenges many clients face on their path to personal growth. These patterns inspired me to create the online program “The Psychotherapy Notebook” (you can read more about it here), which offers tools and guidance for your personal development and growth.
My work isn’t limited to psychotherapy. Since 2021, through the TV show “Vesela učionica” on RTL Kockica, I’ve been striving to spark a love of learning in children from an early age. As the author of several educational publications – “Learning Secrets,” “Learning Pad,” “Learning Secrets 2,” “The Multiplier,” and “How to Awaken a Desire for Learning” – I aim to share my knowledge and experience with a wider audience.
In addition to these activities, I was a member of the Working Group for the Protection of Youth Mental Health within the Youth Council of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. This role enabled me to contribute to shaping policies focused on improving youth mental health.
Working with clients and supporting positive change in their lives is the most important and fulfilling part of my work.
I truly believe it is never too late for change, and that there is always something we can do to enrich our own lives—and the lives of those around us.
